Every Movie Coming To Theaters In May 2022

The first MCU movie of the year is Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. Set a few months after the events of Spider-Man: No Coming Homein which Doctor Strange and Spider-Man created chaos by accidentally opening the gates of the multiverse, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness will see Strange deal with the aftermath of these events. With the help of old allies like Wong (Benedict Wong) and Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen), as well as new ones like America Chavez (Xochitl Gomez), Strange will travel across the multiverse and face off against a mysterious new adversary as well as… its variants and those of its companions.

However, they are soon threatened by the possibility of his return as well as the presence of a monster lurking in a nearby lake. Monstrous premiered at the Glasgow Film Festival in March 2022 and is now set to hit theaters.

On the Count of Three – May 13

On the count of three is a black comedy film directed by Jerrod Carmichael. It follows Val (Carmichael) and Kevin (Christopher Abbott), two chronically depressed best friends who make a pact to end each other’s lives at the end of the day – but as the two pass their last day dealing with business, Kevin’s need to deal with his trauma shatters their orderly plan. Also starred were Tiffany Haddish, Henry Winkler, JB Smoove, Lavell Crawford and Jared Abrahamson. On the count of three will be released simultaneously in theaters and digitally.

Downton Abbey: A New Era – May 20

A new Downton Abbey The movie is coming, serving as a sequel to the 2019 movie of the same name. Directed by Simon Curtis, Downton Abbey: A New Era will see the Crawley family embark on a grand voyage to the south of France to uncover the mystery of the Dowager Countess’s newly inherited villa. the Downton Abbey the actors reprise their roles in this new story, which will be available to stream on Peacock 45 days after its theatrical release (July 4).

Among them is Lieutenant Bradley “Rooster” Bradshaw (Miles Teller), the son of Maverick’s best friend, Nick “Goose” Bradshaw. Top Gun: Maverick was originally supposed to release in July 2019 and was delayed several times after that, but it finally released.
